Seriously! Who doesn't love S'mores, if you don't you may be crazy. A couple days ago I was getting my baking itch and wanted to see how this would work. I've seen S'mores bars and S'mores cookies before but I didn't have Hershey bars so I figured I'd try to wing a recipe in my mind to see what the outcome would be. So here's what I did
Graham Cracker Crust
- Package of Graham Crackers
- 1/4 butter, melted
- 1/4 sugar
Combine all of these and press into a 8x8 baking dish. Bake for 10-15 min in a 350 degree oven.
Chocolate Center - brownie recipe
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Stir together butter, sugar and vanilla in bowl. Add eggs; beat well with spoon. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. Spread batter over crust. Bake 20-25 min. I'd lean on the slightly undercooked side since they'll continue to cook with marshmallow topping.
Marshmallow Topper
- Mini marshmallows
Sprinkle marshmallows over brownie and broil until marshmallows start to brown. Keep a close eye on these as they brown quickly.
These are best eaten when still warm and are super messy! Enjoy!
