Happy 2nd Birthday Adalyn Grace!

Two years ago while I was at work, my water broke!  Luckily, I was in the bathroom so it wasn't completely embarrassing to have water running down my leg and soaking through my pants.  I waddled myself back to my desk, not because I waddled when I was pregnant, but because I was attempting to stop the flow of water.  You see, I had a feeling my water would break while at work so I had a change of clothes to get me home.  What I didn't anticipate was there was a lot of water in me and it was coming out pretty steadily so it didn't take long before I was in need of another change of clothes. Being that it was the lunch hour I was able to get out of the office without too many people figuring it out.  We were hours away from a huge snowstorm so I drove myself home, got Rick and my hospital bags and headed in to the hospital.  After 20 hours of labor, my little Adalyn Grace was born screaming.  (Read more about the birth story here).

My little baby turns 2 today!  I can't believe how quickly time passes when you have a child.  Just one year ago we were celebrating her 1st birthday and she's changed so much since then.  Look how much her hair has grown!

This week is all about Addie and her party which is Saturday!
