Tasty Thursday - Super Easy No Bake Cookies

I made these on Monday and forgot to take a picture so I apologize for not providing my own shot.  I love no bake cookies. They're delicious and so easy.  If you're not a baker or get intimidated by baking, this is your cookie.  So simple and took about 5 minutes to concoct.

  7. This recipe used to be in a recipe card subscription program. It was either "My secret recipes" or "My favorite recipes". There was a plastic flip-top box, and every month you would get a handful of recipe cards in the mail. This was one of my favorites, and I lost the recipe decades ago. I've searched, but no luck. This. This is the one. Thanks for posting!

  9. Question: Cooking oats? Cocoa? What's cooking oats? Is cocoa a powder? If so, what type? Not a cooker as you can tell. Haha. Any info is greatly appreciated :)

    1. There is 3 types of oatmeal. Quick cooking oats, old fashioned oats, and steel cut oats. Each taking longer to cook than the previous listed in order.

    1. Cocoa powder is usually in the baking isle. It's an unsweetened chocolate powder. The oats are usually found in canisters with the breakfast foods. Look carefully because there are different kinds. For this you will want the quick cooking oats. I hope that helps you some! :)

  11. These are so good (and super easy). I've been making these for years and we've always called them "elephant poops"...not the most appetizing name, but it's one you never forget.
