As the post would suggest, I’m going to talk to you about Ice Cream. Seriously the best Ice Cream I’ve ever had can be found in my hometown of Columbus, Ohio. The company is Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and it is so good! How good is it? It made the top 5 ice cream parlors...in the world! You can find out more about them on World Travel Guide.
I fell in love with Jeni’s the first time I ever had it at the North Market shop in Columbus. I noticed a seriously long line for ice cream and it wasn’t particularly warm out that day either. I had to find out what the deal was and did I ever. They have a variety of interesting flavors to try out including some signature favorites like Bourbon Buttered Pecan, Riesling Poached Pear, Wildberry Lavendar, and their famous Salty Caramel. They also have seasonal favorites like Goat Cheese with Red Cherries, Rockmill Golden Ale & Apricots, and Sweet Corn & Black Raspberries. On top of some amazingly delicious ice cream they sell sorbets, frozen yogurt, and macaroon ice cream sandwiches.

Jeni, the owner, is very proud of her company and is a constant presence at all the openings and many Jeni’s events. There are about 10 shops in Ohio, mostly in the central Ohio area, and a recently opened location in East Nashville. Either way, expect a wait when you go, but the wait is worth it in the end! No matter what time of year, Jeni's is a hit. If you don’t live in Ohio or Nashville but still want to check it out, as you should, you can order pints of ice cream, sorbets, frozen yogurt and macaroon packs on the site. You can also keep up with Jeni’s on their blog, Salty Caramel.

I'm looking forward to next summer when I can take my sweet baby girl to try Jeni's for her first time. Have any of you had Jeni's? Particularly any of you outside of the central Ohio area? I'm curious to see how many of my followers know of it.
PS. I was not paid to write this post, I just seriously love Jeni's!
Edited: Pictures were found directly on Jeni's site.
