I always wanted to cloth diaper and after nearly two and a half years of diapers, I'm even more for it. The number of diapers we've went through in that amount of time nears 5,000 diapers! It's ridiculous, add to that the fact that diapers don't break down in landfills and I'm all in. There are so many reasons to cloth diaper and I'm ashamed to admit the reason we didn't try it is because I was all in and Rick wasn't. I didn't fight the battle as much as I should have. So when Comfy Rumps contacted me to do a review, I was ecstatic! I finally got my chance to try it out myself and I love them! Addie does too clearly...
We chose the Sunshine Yellow original diaper. The original diaper are a pocket style diaper with an opening at the back to insert the soaker to use. The diaper is $7.75 so it's super affordable. A newbie needs about 12 diapers a day so you'll want to purchase about 18 just in case. Add that up and you'll spend about $140 in cloth diapers. Compare that to the monthly cost of disposables which comes to about $50 and you'll easily pay for your purchase in a matter of months.
Addie loved the diaper so much I couldn't get her to stand still long enough to catch the photos. She was spinning around in this one.

The diapers held up really well to Addie's wear and to the washer.
