Fall is my favorite time of year. There's so much to do outside, the weather is gorgeous, and some of our favorite traditions happen this time of year. The pumpkin patch is one of those. So a couple weeks back we took a trip to our favorite farm in Columbus, Lynd's Fruit Farm. Our first stop was at the market where we found a cool ruler to check just how tall Addie is.
The fields were full of pumpkins, Addie had her pick.
She was more interested in picking up the micro sized green pumpkins.
The wind was crazy that day.
On the way out we stopped to have some fun with the signs.
We tried to get Addie to help the carving process. She stuck her hand in the pumpkin and then immediately pulled it out and said, "Ewwww" repeatedly. To the point where now she sees a pumpkin and says "punk, eww".
Rick found a really great pattern for Addie's pumpkin.
She's in love. Every day she gets home and instead of running to me and hugging me, she runs to the pumpkin and says, "Lala, eww".
Any fun pumpkin designs you've created? Do your kids love playing with the pumpkin guts?

my kids are huge pumpkin gut wimps! But they love picking them out and picking designes to get me to try and carve, this year we carved a minion pumpkin from dispicable me :)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter LOVES pumpkin seeds now that she helped me pull them out of the pumpkin. She's so proud of herself that she helped make them from the pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteAddie is sooo adorable! I love her pumpkin.
