This was a fabulously long weekend. Crazy but still not long enough. What's nice is I'm transitioning my workload over to a couple coworkers so as the weeks pass, I'm becoming less and less busy. It's great because I can start focusing on what I don't have done yet for this guys arrival. My plan is to have the big stuff taken care of by next week. I need to bust out my list!
Due Date? Scheduled c-section date of September 20th. 2 weeks remain.
How far along? 37 weeks
How big is baby? The baby is the size of a swiss chard about 19.25" and about 6.3lbs. *Note: Based on him measuring about 2 weeks ahead of schedule, he's probably more like 7.3lbs.
Weight gain? +31
What's going on with baby? Baby is now considered full term meaning the organs should be fully developed and prepared for the outside world!
Stretchmarks? Yes.
Sleep? Sleeping really well and deep. I've even made it through the night a couple times without waking to use the restroom.
Best moment this week? My best and worst moment was all rolled into one. I'm trying to prepare Addie for me being in the hospital and away from her for several nights. I told her that I would be away but that she would be taken care of. She very quickly pouted her lip and said, "No, mama, I miss you". Obviously I like that she cares enough to miss me, but I don't want her to be sad. I'm really hoping the days she's away from us she enjoys and the nights are easy on her.
Movement? Still pretty active. The movement I am getting is sometimes painful.
Food cravings? Nothing in particular this week.
Gender? Boy!
Labor signs? Second cervix check was no progress, still sitting at 0 cm. I had some intense cramping over the weekend and some throughout the week. Nothing too painful or regular at this point.
Belly button in or out? In.
What I miss? Being able to walk by something without hitting my stomach. Or eating without reclining.
What I am looking forward to? This heartburn to be gone.
Milestones? Officially full term today and 2 weeks to go.
Next doctor's appointment? September 11th.
