Just Not Feeling It

You've noticed my posting has decreased here and there over the past few weeks and possibly even months.  With two kids, I can barely get myself to work on time every morning so making sure I have content written for the blog the night before is next to impossible.  Especially with Addie being sick last week, her birthday and then her birthday party this weekend, it's just not be a relaxing week.

I posted at the first of the year about getting better at blogging and I will, I promise, I still have 40 something weeks left to improve.  Plus, it'll be really easy to improve from this state.  :)

I'm also telling myself, daily, that I'll be starting 30 day shred on February 1st, which is this Saturday for those of you who don't know.  You should start up at this point too so we can commiserate with one another.  It'll be tough, I'll be exhausted and in pain but I need to start getting back into fitness.  We'll be headed on vacation early June so I have a target date in mind to drop a few pounds and tone up by then.

Speaking of toning up, have you watched the new show on Bravo called Toned Up?  I'm obsessed.  I love those girls and have a girl crush on Kat.  Within 5 minutes of watching the first episode I checked out their website and follow them on Instagram.  Watching each episode reminds me how badly I need to get back into the swing of things.

Once I start working out again I think I'll feel more energized and motivated because right now I'm dragging every day and going through the motions.  I'm in a funk and I have to get out soon.

    1. Thanks Jen! I'm planning to start this weekend so I'll be repeating, "I can do this", over and over.

  2. I think once you start your program it will definitely help with motivation! I am on week 11 of a twelve week program and working out has helped my energy level tremendously!

    1. That's what I've heard, that it takes 14 days to make it a habit. I can't wait for spring and will so disappointed if I'm not physically in a better place.
