Hidden Creek Farms Trip

Sundays are days that we go visit my parents so this week was no exception even with Rick feeling under the weather.  I mentioned earlier this week that it was gorgeous in Ohio this weekend so we decided to go to a local farm called Hidden Creek Farms and enjoy a nice fall day on the farm.  I wasn't really sure what to expect so I was super excited when we got there.

It's a nice small family farm situated out in the country and it's so quiet and beautiful.  The leaves are changing and there were so many fun things for Addie to do.  First up was the hay maze inside a barn.  Addie was hesitant to crawl through this cubby.

Eventually she did and ran through the barn.

This was the cutest moment.  Addie saw Buddy and "mooo-ed".  Buddy is a 3 week calf and he was bouncing around like he just learned how to run.

He did let her touch him, then he took off.

After we finally pried her away from Buddy, she found the chickens.

Then the turkeys.  How cute is it that she is bent over looking through the fence like that.

My dad stepped up and took her down the giant slide.  Then she proceeded to go down it again, and again, and again.

Up next was the hayride to the pumpkin patch.

She tried to pick up every pumpkin she saw and grunted each time like it was the heaviest thing ever.

Oi, every once in a while I see a picture of her looking like a little girl.  This is one of them.

Such a fun afternoon activity.  I highly suggest you find a local farm and take your kids out for this.  It's super cheap and they love it!
